1.1. Introduction

Welcome to COACHIEZ, an AI coaching platform. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to them, you are not allowed to use the platform.

1.2. Services Provided

  • COACHIEZ offers AI-based coaching sessions with a strict zero-knowledge policy.
  • Users can participate in the coaching process, but must understand that COACHIEZ does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or any other type of advice.
  • Users should have realistic expectations about interacting with AI and, when needed, complement AI coaching with human support to receive a complete experience.
  • An AI coaching session will be automatically interrupted if the user navigates to other pages (e.g., My Profile) during the session.

1.3. Zero-Knowledge Policy

  • COACHIEZ does not record, store, or use session content for further model training.
  • Once a session ends, its data is permanently deleted, except for session metadata, as described in the Privacy Policy.

1.4. User Responsibilities

  • You agree to use the platform ethically and responsibly.
  • Any misuse, such as sharing inappropriate content or violating applicable laws, will result in account termination.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

1.5. Account Deletion

  • Users may request to delete their account by sending an email to office@coachiez.com
  • Once deleted, all user data will be permanently removed from our database.

1.6. Compliance and Ethical Standards

COACHIEZ complies with the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) and GDPR, which includes:

  • Upholding integrity, transparency, and professional conduct.
  • Respecting client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Commitment to ethical coaching practices.
  • AI coaching platforms regularly undergo audits and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and industry standards.

1.7. Limitation of Liability

  • COACHIEZ is not responsible for any decisions made based on AI coaching sessions.
  • The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

1.8. Changes to Terms

  • COACHIEZ reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of all changes made.

1.9. Payments and Billing via Stripe

  • All payments for Coachiez subscriptions are processed by our payment service provider, Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to process payments on our behalf and you agree that Stripe may store and process your payment information in accordance with its own privacy practices. Coachiez does not store full card numbers or CVC codes.

1.10. Subscription Term, Renewal, and Billing Cycle

  • Subscriptions are recurring (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date. Your current plan, next billing date, and payment method are shown in your account.

1.11. Trials

  • Any free trial length and eligibility are shown at sign-up. Trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. One trial per customer is equal to one AI coaching session. We may revoke trial access in cases of abuse or fraud.

1.12. Plan Changes (Upgrade/Downgrade)

  • You may change plans at any time via your account. Changes can take effect immediately (with prorated charges or credits) or at the next renewal date, depending on the option you select. Proration is calculated by Stripe based on the remaining time in your current billing period.

1.13. Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support. Unless stated otherwise, cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period; access remains available until then.

1.14. Refund Policy

  • We offer refunds according to our Refund Policy (see below). Approved refunds are returned either (i) to the original payment method via Stripe, or (ii) by bank transfer upon request. To request a bank-transfer refund, contact office@coachiez.com from your account email and provide your full name and IBAN. Stripe refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days; bank-transfer refunds may take 10–15 business days depending on your bank. Any currency conversion or bank fees are borne by the recipient unless required otherwise by law. Bank-transfer refunds are available where permitted by law. We reserve the right to deny refunds where prohibited by law or in cases of misuse.

1.15. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us first so we can investigate. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution. We may suspend access for accounts involved in payment disputes until resolved.

1.16. Taxes and Invoices

  • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any VAT/sales taxes based on your billing address and status. Where required, Stripe calculates and collects taxes on our behalf. Tax invoices/receipts are issued electronically.

1.17. Customer Portal

  • For convenience, subscription management (plan changes, cancellations, payment method updates) is available through a secure customer billing portal provided by Stripe. Actions you take there have the same effect as actions taken within Coachiez.

1.18. Pricing and Policy Changes

  • We may modify prices or billing policies. Material changes will be notified in advance and will apply from the next renewal. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

1.19. Refund Policy

  • Renewals: Refunds for renewal charges are generally not provided after the renewal date.
  • Downgrades: Plan downgrades can take on the next renewal. Any prorated credits are automatically applied by Stripe to future invoices.
  • How to request: Email office@coachiez.com from your account email with your request and reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe; if you prefer a bank transfer, mention this in your email and include your full name and IBAN. Bank-transfer refunds are available where permitted by law.
  • Refund timing: Stripe refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days; bank-transfer refunds may take 10–15 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Currency/fees: Any currency conversion or bank fees are borne by the recipient unless required otherwise by law.
  • Abuse/Fraud: We may refuse refunds in cases of misuse, repeated refund requests, or policy abuse.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
